About Our Town

 

Nestled against the banks of Frazers Creek, Ashford is a picturesque community which spreads out around a wide expanse of parkland through which meanders a water course that makes its way down to Frazers Creek.

 

The facilities in the town include a spacious caravan park with full amenities. The town pool, which is open through the summer months, is right next door to the caravan park. It is a short walk across the road to enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the Ashford Memorial Bowling Club. Around the corner in the main business centre,  you will locate the Ashford Rural Transaction Centre. The friendly staff at the RTC will help with any tourism enquiries.
